Tank Cleaning

For many years, one of IBKA’s greatest assets has been its range of tank cleaning services. Through the many different tasks, we have acquired extensive know-how and thus consider ourselves specialists within this field.

IBKA has equipment to undertake all types of tank cleaning: bullworker, gully emptiers, dry/wet vacuum cleaners – so-called mammoth trucks (ADR & ATEX approved), high pressure units, sand washing equipment, and all types of safety and environmental equipment.

Together with recognised painting contractors, we furthermore offer total solutions in situations where the finishing treatment requires surface protection.

The cleaning of large oil tanks will always result in a great deal of waste material such as oil residue, rust flakes and many other contaminants. This type of waste material, including rinsing water, is usually handed over to approved waste disposal sites. Via our decanter equipment, IBKA can offer to separate/decant all waste material into two phases (oil/water and solid waste) so that waste disposal costs are minimised.
